1. That our children might know and glorify God, our Creator. (Psalm 9)
2. That our children might come to know and trust in Christ as Savior and Lord. (Mark 10:13,14)
3. That parents might be helped in carrying out their God-given responsibility of training their children in the
Knowledge of God. (Deuteronomy 6:6-7. Proverbs 22:6, Ephesians 6:4)
4. That our children might learn that all wisdom, freedom, and blessing come from God.
5. That our children might come to an understanding and appreciate our responsibilities, rights, and
freedoms as citizens of South Africa.
6. That our children might come to understand that for a Christian there is no difference between the sacred
and the secular. That for a Christian, all things are sacred, whether it is the study of science or the study of
the Bible.
7. That our children be prepared spiritually and academically for life, that is: that they receive a solid
foundation for life in the basic academic subjects such as reading, mathematics, grammar, science, and
social studies. That they understand these subjects in the light of God’s Word.

8. That our children develop an understanding and appreciation for good music, art, and literature: and that
they recognize and reject that which is evil and degrading. (Philippians 4:8)

9. That our children understand that their bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
They shall be developed in a balanced program of physical education. Our schools’
teams will be taught that winning is fun, and every effort will be made to win every
game. Winning a game, however, is not as important as having a good Christian
testimony. (1 Timothy 4:8, Corinthians 9:24-27)

10. That our children develop a burden for the lost, and in obedience to the Great Commission learn how to
be an effective witness for Christ, to lead others to Him. (Corinthians 5:1 7-20)
